Thank you for reaching out to us. We have identified and fixed this issue in our Chrome add-on.
We will be deploying a patch shortly.
Wrong Citation in WIzdomWell, i used the Wizdom.ai button to import some articles into my wizdom library. They got imported, but instead of my medical articles, I received something about beavers, ophtalmology... thats strange and stops me from working with wizdom.ai, as i cannot be sure of a reliable tool. Btw the dev of wizdom.ai seems quite inactive... Are there other opinions?1 vote
We apologies for the inconvenience. On Priority, I’ve escalated this issue right away to the concerned team. For us to look further into this issue could you please tell us from where you import the articles into your library? If you import it from website please share the name of that website as well.
Your patience, cooperation and understanding is highly appreciated in this matter.
the date i save as the date of publication is inserted in the bibliography as accessed date, is there a way to change this?

Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry for the inconvenience.
For us to look into this further could you please share the Citation style which you used to generate Bibliography.
There is no APA 7th edition for citations.
Also, when searching to add a new citation style, the boxes cannot be expanded so I cannot read the full title of some of the citation styles.
In Google docs, when inserting a citation, there's no comma after the author's name (there should be). It does insert a comma on Word, but the Word plugin does not use et al. properly.7 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We already working on including the APA 7th edition in plugin so you will get it soon..
We also working on Add new citation style window new UI. It will show the box length as per the citation style title.
Both update are in development and soon be available for users.
Thanks & Regards
When adding new references. In the bibliography, the "accessed" date in the citation is wrong. It doesn't show the correct date.
It would be nice, if it showed todays date.5 votes
Thank you for your comment. We are currently looking into ensuring that the date does not change no matter which browser or platform you are using. If the problem reoccurs we will be happy to support you again. Thank you for your patience in the meantime whilst we are looking to resolve this.
Doesn't work well
I try to upload references with the Chrome add-on: doesn't work well. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I try using the desktop app search tool: doesn't work well. It doesn't add the references even if it says it has done it.
I try manually uploading new references in the desktop app: it doesn't work well. It doesn't sync with the web.

Thanking for coming up with this open source reference management software. I have used Mendely and EndNote, but I am switching to this one. I have realized that I can not import folders in the specific folder in the app. Once I import the articles goes to all publications, so if I am working with different projects it becomes difficult. Also I can't import a folder containing sub folders at once, I have to import the subfolders separately. Otherwise I like the app. Thanks.4 votes
The Scrivener writing environment is one probably the best writing software on the market. However, it has no internal bibliographic and citing support. The reference and research packages "Papers", "Zotero", and "End Note" have all written extensions and automated workflows that allow more humane workflows integrating Scrivener and bibliographic reference and citing. Would be stupendous should ColWiz do the same but better!

Hi Nicole, Thanks for your valuable suggestion. This feature is in our future plans.
Even if I imprt the publicatoin from pubmed the metadata like volume, pages, year don't get automatically improted. This need to be fixed urgently otherwise it will cost us so much time to do it again.11 votes
It would be nice if it would be possible to move the folders of the Library and to achieve more flexibility. So new projects (folder) may be also listed above and not as the lowest folder2 votes
Currently, it is not possible, to edit a publication in a group. Maybe, because it is just linked to the main entry. But the problem is that the title formatting (i. e. species names in italics) is lost. Also, if I click on the group's entry, the formatting gets also lost in the main entry. That's a bug, i think.1 vote
I switch over to colwiz because it supports Google Docs. After importing my library from Zotero, all text marked in italics (i. e. species names in titles) disappeared. Now I have to edit all publications and retype the html tag for italics (<i>E. coli</i>). That's quite a lot of work.
It would be better to import this information as well.1 vote

Currently the search function of the insert citation only works on titles. It would be a vast improvement if it allowed searching for author etc.7 votes
I think it would be nice if you include the option to have subgroups in the individual groups.7 votes
so I suggest to Open attached files in new tap.1 vote
it is better allow to organize articles into different folders. at this moment one can not move articles into folder just copy ... which duplicate articles in library .4 votes
The choices in the app are a little weak.
I would like to add an folder for recently added and recently read.
But I love that I can use Adobe pdf Reader -- do not change that!1 vote
1- It will be a marvellous app/programme/website, if you can integrate Colwiz with Jabref (since Jabref is also written in Java) and/or Kbibtex. Extracting citations in Bibtex form will be much easier than now.
2- It is interesting not to see New Hart's (Oxford) style in a website/app prepared by researchers of Oxford University. It will be very kind of you if you can add it to the options.
3- Finally but momentous, it will be amazing if you can make google scholar to recognize -just and only- the articles shared to all world in Colwiz.1 vote
- Don't see your idea?
